DeckLens ("we", "our", or "the App") is developed by Kadir Caner Ergun. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use DeckLens.

DeckLens is designed with privacy in mind. All your flashcard data, decks, and study progress are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.

We collect the following data through third-party services:

  • Analytics data (Firebase Analytics): anonymous usage statistics such as app launches, feature usage, and session duration to help us improve the app.
  • Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics): anonymous diagnostic data when the app crashes, including device model, OS version, and stack traces.
  • Advertising data (Google AdMob): personalized or non-personalized ads may be shown. Ad networks may collect device identifiers and usage data as described in their own privacy policies.

Data Retention

All flashcard and study data remains on your device. If you uninstall the app, this data is permanently deleted. Analytics and crash data are retained by Firebase according to their data retention policies.

Children's Privacy

DeckLens is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Your Rights

You can reset your advertising identifier through your device settings. You can opt out of analytics collection by disabling usage data sharing in your device settings. Since all study data is local, you have full control over it — you can export or delete it at any time.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through an app update or notice within the app.
